POS systems we compare, install and support

POS, payments, integrations, business software and funding — GCMS works with several platforms, so we start with your problem and match the technology to it. Then our local team installs it and supports it.

How we recommend

Fit, value and support — not just the lowest price

  1. Fit first

We start with how you operate (service style, volume, locations), then shortlist what fits.

  2. Side by side

Because we work with several platforms, we can compare options instead of selling one.

  3. Installed and supported

We set up and train on the platform you choose and explain its support path before you decide. Local installation and support throughout Northwest Florida, with onsite installation available nationwide depending on the project.

The short answer

Last reviewed · How we check

GCMS compares several POS platforms instead of selling one brand, because each fits different businesses. We start from how you operate, shortlist platforms whose capabilities match, then install, program, train and support the one you choose. Each platform page shows what the vendor confirms and where it may not fit.

Questions owners ask

Buying a POS: common questions

How much does a POS system cost?

It depends on the platform, how many stations and handhelds you need, the software plan, add-ons like online ordering or kitchen screens, card processing, installation and support. We put those pieces side by side for your setup before you choose, rather than quoting one number without knowing how you run.

Should I buy from a local installer or directly from the POS company?

Buying direct can work well if you are comfortable setting up and supporting the system yourself. A local installer adds a comparison across several platforms, on-site setup, training and a nearby contact — weigh that against any cost difference.

Can I keep my current payment processor?

Sometimes. Some platforms work with several processors; others include their own processing. We check what each platform on your shortlist allows before you decide.

Can I keep my existing hardware?

Sometimes. It depends on the platform you choose and the equipment you have. A specialist checks your current hardware before recommending anything new.

What happens to my menu, products and customer data if I switch?

Menus and product lists can often be exported and imported; history, reports and customer lists depend on what each system allows. We plan what carries over before anything changes.

Can GCMS install it and train our staff?

Yes, where installation applies. Local installation and support throughout Northwest Florida, with onsite installation available nationwide depending on the project. We program your menu or products, train your team and explain the support path for the platform you choose.
