About GCMS

We help you choose, set up and run the right POS

For owners who want an honest recommendation and a local team behind it.

Headquartered at the Cadenhead Legacy Center, 5784 Chumuckla Hwy, Pace, FL 32571.

The short answer

Gulf Coast Merchant Services helps businesses choose point-of-sale and payment technology from more than one provider, then set it up, train staff on it and support it after go-live. The team works from the Cadenhead Legacy Center in Pace, Florida, and recommends what fits each business rather than one product for everyone.

Why more than one platform

We start from your business, not a product

  • No single system fits every business

A bar running tabs, a grocery store with a scale and a pizzeria with drivers need different things. Starting from one product means bending the business to fit it.

  • Fit comes before brand

We start from what has to work on a busy shift — and what has to connect — then look at which platforms do that.

  • Trade-offs stay visible

Every option has costs, contract terms and limits. You see them before you choose, not after.

How GCMS works with each platform

Every platform below is available through Gulf Coast Merchant Services. GCMS is a dealer for some and a reseller for others, and that affects who handles which support questions after go-live, so we explain the support path for the platform you choose. For Exatouch our support is limited, so ask before you choose it.

SpotOn, Dejavoo, NRS POS, NRS Petro, TableTurn

How an evaluation works

Four steps before any recommendation

  1. Step 1: Learn how you operate

Service style, stations, locations, busy periods and what frustrates you today.

  2. Step 2: List what has to work

Must-have features and the apps that have to connect: accounting, payroll, delivery, reservations, online ordering.

  3. Step 3: Check against vendor sources

Each requirement is checked against the platform’s own published material. Anything site-specific — fuel, EBT, scan data — is confirmed for your location.

  4. Step 4: Recommend with the trade-offs

You get the options that fit, why they fit, what to verify and what each one costs over the full term.

After you choose

Set up, installed, trained and supported

  • Configuration

Menus or items, taxes, modifiers, staff roles and reports are set up and checked before go-live.

  • Installation

Hardware and network are installed and tested at your location, scheduled around your hours.

  • Training

Managers first, then staff, practising on your own menu or products before the first real order.

  • Support after go-live

Existing customers reach the support team through the support page; the team works from our Pace headquarters.
